David Bibbey – FSOMA VP & Legislative Chair - Florida plans to pass restrictive Dry Needling Law in 2020. - FL Acupuncture Laws and Public Safety concerns have been defended. - Florida physical therapists planning to use dry needling are required to: - - complete supervised education and training program - - complete supervised patient treatments - - complete patient consent before dry needling treatments - - document and report patient injuries and adverse events - - MAY NOT perform or provide Acupuncture in Florida How Florida’s new dry needling requirements compare with other states.
